Annual Auction
Our club, located in Rapid City,
South Dakota (Pennington County) was founded in 1935 and
became an ARRL affiliated club in 1937.
We are an ARRL Special Service
Club.
Our members are from the Black Hills
area of Western South Dakota and adjacent states.
We invite you to join us at our monthly general meeting
on the third Friday of the month starting at 6:30 PM for
the social hour
with the meeting and technical
presentation to follow at 7:30 PM.
The meetings of the Black Hills Amateur
radio club will be held at the
School of Mines, in the Electrical
Engineering Building.

Annual
Dues are $20 per Member or $30 for the family and are
payable in September.
The
Club year is September to August.
- Persons
who are interested in becoming Amateur Radio
Operators, are invited to attend one of our
monthly meetings or they can check the ARRL web page www.arrl.org , for
further information.
- Our
annual general meeting, election of officers and
pot luck picnic is held on the first (1st) Sunday
following the first (1st) Monday in September
each year. Annual dues become due and can be paid
at this meeting.
- In
February each year the club has its annual fund
raising ham auction, VE test session and holiday
dinner in the evening.
- Club's

- Pennington
County Emergency Coordinators are Scott Rausch,

REMOTE
BASE STATION
The club has a remote base station located at its
clubhouse on Radar Hill Road. Operation on 16Ø meters
through 7Ø cm bands are possible. It is open to all
current club members, restricted by their individual
license class. The link is by a UHF repeater. Contact
Jeff Halgerson, KØHF for further information. Grid
